Hello, I’m Mylonas. I’m English and now live in Asia. My working life has taken me from stone masonry in my native county to wealth management in the capital cities of Asia, a somewhat varied path.
I was introduced to cryptic crosswords by my father, and ever since, one has been a constant companion to mull over. It remains my daily ritual to print out the Telegraph, Guardian or Times crossword and complete over coffee and breakfast.
At the prompting of my wife, I began compiling puzzles, first for family and friends, who were kind enough to respond positively, and later for local publications. That encouragement led to the creation of this site, where I can share them more widely. What began as a hobby has developed into a small, ongoing enterprise.
These days, as well as solving and compiling crosswords, I enjoy playing golf (badly), riding my motorcycle “Dave” (more on that later), and continuing to work in my adopted home.
